Iconic Mexican food at its best. Of course you come for the margaritas but don’t miss the great and plentiful plates and service. Prefer to sit in bar area and had the most attentive service with Ed. Love the taco salad which is enough for 2 people. The cheese dip hits the spot and don’t miss the cheesy cheese and onion enchiladas. Add it to your spot!
To know Ponak's is to love Ponak's. The service is always so fast, even on a busy Friday night! I feel like there are so many options on the menu. I ordered the combo with two chicken tinga burritos. My waitress recommended the white queso and it was a great choice! The rice at Ponak's is hands down my favorite, and the refried beans are good too. Of course you can't forget the margaritas! One frozen pitcher is about six drinks. So strong and always yummy. Definitely my go to Mexican place!
I haven't been to Ponak's for about 25 years and after last night I realized, I've been missing out. There were 3 of us and everyone's food was a huge portion and delicious. The Taco Salad was great and I was barely able to finished it. The Chicken Nachos were massive and they had a ton of cheese. We got a pitcher of Margaritas and had a great meal. Our waitress did a great job and she rocked it.
